Getting Started
What is the LTC News Directory Business Portal?
The Business Portal is where long-term care providers manage their listing in the LTC News Care Directory. You can claim your business listing, update your information, upload photos, and sponsor your listing for greater visibility.
How do I claim my listing?
After creating an account and registering your organization, search for your business by name. Once you find your listing, you'll confirm ownership and we'll send a verification code to your business address via U.S. Mail. Enter the code to complete the claim. Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery.
What can I do once my listing is claimed?
You can update your business name, description, phone number, address, website, hours of operation, photos, and services offered. You can also manage who in your organization has access to edit the listing.
Can multiple people manage a listing?
Yes. Organization administrators can invite additional users and assign them access to specific listings through the User Management section.
I didn't receive my verification letter. What do I do?
Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery. If you haven't received it after that period, submit a support ticket and we'll assist you.
Sponsorships
Do I need a sponsored listing to be in the Care Directory?
No. Your listing is free — always. Sponsorship is an optional upgrade for businesses that want more visibility.
What does a sponsored listing include?
Sponsored listings receive priority placement in Care Directory search results for your area, removal of competitor listings from your listing page, and increased visibility to families searching for long-term care providers. Your listing information, photos, and services remain the same. Sponsorship enhances how and where your listing appears.
Where do sponsored listings appear?
Sponsored listings appear before unsponsored listings on Care Directory search results pages when families search for care providers in your area. This means your business shows up first, ahead of other providers who have not sponsored their listing.
Can I sponsor some listings but not others?
Yes. Each license covers one listing. You choose which listings to sponsor and can change your selection anytime.
Can I sponsor more than one location?
Yes. Each sponsorship license covers one listing. You can purchase as many licenses as you need and assign each one to a different verified listing. This works whether you have two locations or two hundred.
Can I move a sponsorship license from one location to another?
Yes. You can reassign a sponsorship license from one verified listing to another at any time from the Subscriptions page in your Business Portal account. The change takes effect immediately.
How do I get started?
Log in to your Business Portal account, navigate to the Subscriptions page, and choose the number of licenses you need. If you haven't claimed your listing yet, start there — it's free.
Does sponsorship guarantee calls, leads or new residents/clients?
No. Sponsorship increases visibility and placement within the LTC News Care Directory but does not guarantee inquiries, leads, admissions or other business results.
Do I have to sponsor my listing to be included in the directory?
No. Claiming and managing an eligible listing is free. Sponsorship is optional.
Billing & Cancellation
What happens if I cancel?
Your sponsorship stays active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your listing returns to standard placement. Your listing and all your information remain in the directory — nothing is deleted.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Sponsorships are billed monthly with no long-term commitment. You can add licenses, remove licenses, or cancel entirely at any time. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
How do I cancel my sponsorship?
You can manage your subscription from the Subscriptions page in your account. See our Cancellation Policy for details.
What happens to my listing if I cancel sponsorship?
Your sponsorship remains active through the end of your current billing period. After that, your listing returns to standard placement in the Care Directory. Your listing, business information, photos, and services all remain exactly as they are. Nothing is removed or deleted.
Do I lose my free listing if I stop sponsoring?
No. The business listing remains in the LTC News Care Directory and returns to standard placement.
